Our first time using the “bunch o balloons” machine

May 4th, 2020

Sometimes I have the worst ideas. Most of the time it starts out as a really well intended idea but ends up mixed with a giant misinterpretation on my part of how something will work …. and my husband has to (so nicely) rain all over my parade 😂…

Today? It was my idea that this balloon machine I have was going to make a ton of amazing balloons. I have been holding onto this machine for a year. Tonight I told Cameron and Kris that tomorrow will be the machine’s time to shine for Cameron’s friends 13th birthday! I was excited until I showed Kris the video of the machine working it’s magic … and he pointed at the helium tank in the video.. (which we obviously don’t have)… and asked me how I thought some random machine was going to create helium… 🤦🏼‍♀️

How did I miss this in the video I have watched several times?! Hahah. Kris was like “how much did you spend on this machine? A small fortune because you thought it was some magical machine that creates helium?” 😂🙊🤷‍♀️

So, I basically spent $40 on a bunch of balloons. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Aye yi yi.

My hopes and dreams are crushed. Goodnight everyone. 😂🎈

Update – May 5, 2020

Kris has saved the day! He found a $15 helium tank at Target! (and also found out the machine I paid $40 for online, is only $15 at Target as well 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷‍♀️)

So, now we always laugh when we see this clip from “A Simple Favor” 😉

You can find your own machine at Target! ☺️
