DIY Scratcher Tickets

Have you ever wondered how you could make your own scratch off tickets? Well, I did and it turned out to be so easy & fun! I started out intrigued by this idea when we were wedding planning and I saw heart shaped scratch off stickers for sale on Etsy. They were SO cute & I just had to have them. However, we didn’t end up using them for anything for our wedding and I didn’t want them to go to waste. I came up with an idea for my friend who was selling Lularoe to use them but we didn’t end up going through with the idea. So, I ended up making a little template on Microsoft word for a little surprise for my son with his breakfast one morning.

A few months ago I was putting together a training class for my employees. I knew I wanted it to be different than other training classes because it was important to me I was able to keep them engaged. Among a couple other things, I decided to make scratcher tickets with stickers I found on Amazon & used my Silhouette program to create the design I wanted to use. I was able to easily create the template using our company logo cartoon characters & was thrilled with how they turned out!

I had left over stickers & my son is getting older so I decided instead of stuffing his plastic eggs for his Easter egg hunt with candy – I made scratcher tickets for him instead. I wasn’t able to devote as much time to the design of each of them as I was hoping but he still though it was pretty cool!

I am bouncing around the idea to create an actual tutorial on how to create these yourself, or possibly even creating them for other people for a small cost. Shoot me an email or comment below if either of these things are something you would be interested in. 🙂
